Sunday, November 23, 2014. My dad took Gabby, Miranda, and a couple of their friends to the movies on Friday night. The movie theater was at the mall. I'm not sure how many grandpas willingly take 4 teenage girls to the mall. He gets all-star grandpa points for that! Miranda went to the temple for the first time on Wednesday! Wednesday, August 26, 2015. First Day of School. 1st day of 8, 10, and 12 grades. Last year of all of them off to school together :(. Here is what went on this summer. We went to the beach. Made the kids work. The girls made flower crowns. Made a lot of cake. Ate a lot of cake. Joel dyed his hair. Tried to catch a squirrel. Went to Karen's wedding. Drove the boys to the Grand Canyon for their Havasupai trip. On the way down to Havasupai. Some people really get into it! Nate and the boys went spear fishing.

Sunday, April 26, 2015. Nate and I were able to chaperon the blacklight dance at our building. It was the first time we chaperoned since Gabby has been going to dances. Happy 17th Birthday Joel. Grandma made Joel this awesome quilt for his birthday! Saturday is the special day . . . The Young Women went on a canoe trip down the Colorado River over spring break. Wednesday, March 18, 2015. To Arizona for Isaac's Eagle Court of Honor. It was a glorious weekend in AZ when we went out there. We took advantage of the good weather and went for a hike through the desert. Then, we went to Isaac's Eagle Court of Honor in the afternoon. Saturday, March 7, 2015. Friday, October 31, 2014. For school, Gabby and Joel were Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. My mom made this costume for me when I was in 8th grade! A few weeks ago, Gabby called up Grandma Elly and asked her if she would make a grinch costume (The girls are obsessed with the grinch! Grandma said that she would see what she can do. A few weeks later this amazing costume showed up on our doorstep! Gabby was the Grinch and Emerson was Cindy Lou Who. Friday, October 24, 2014. Happy 12th Birthday Miranda!
