Things i have tried lately to focus prayer (and that have variously helped and not helped at all):. 1) concentrating on the Arabic. 2) trying to run Arabic and the English translation at the same time in my mind. 4) trying to clear my mind before starting and, to be honest, several times during as well. Sisters, what do you try?

Moving on to more things i've been thinking of:. The purpose of reality. Maybe people are like clay- if you want to form them you have to form them against something: push against them with your hands or with tools and they turn into a vase, let them just turn untouched on the potter's wheel and they remain unformed lumps.

So i was all excited two days ago when i got a package in the mail with a couple of new jilbabs- funky and spunky and fiercely cute! So i rinsed them in the sink and hung them up on the shower curtain rod to work out the wrinkles they got in shipping and today was time for the debut of my favorite. Thursday, February 12, 2009.
