http://elisabethincongo.blogspot.com/2009/06/so-its-been-awhile.html
Life with God is an adventure. Friday, June 12, 2009. So it's been awhile. Far too long, I know! I’m pretty sure I even forgot that I have a blog for a few months back there. Things got really busy at the office since I was running the Programs department for awhile while my supervisor was out of town. A lot has happened in the last half a year though (has it already been that long! More coming soon, don’t worry! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). IPA’s weekly links. My burg - Sandy Young.

Friday, June 4, 2010. How to clean and season your grill after every use. After cooking your food, leave your grill on high for a few minutes to burn off all the food residue. Then scrub it down with a brush. If your grill grate is ceramic, don't scrub it with the metal scraper at the end of your brush or it will scratch off the finish on the grates. Labels: 30 minutes with your grill. Not a fish lover? This recipe will win you over. The salmon is so flaky and infused with smoky flavor from the Cedar...

Fletchboy's Follies: Full Body Scan? No thanks!
http://fletchboy.blogspot.com/2011/02/full-body-scan-no-thanks.html
Personal opinions, rants, book reviews, product reviews and interesting experiences from the desk of Greg Fletcher. Sunday, February 6, 2011. I told him that I was aware that he was just doing his job. He said, "Let's just get you through here." He scanned his gloves in advance to confirm that his gloves didn't create a "false positive" on the explosives test. I joked that if his gloves failed, I'd have to screen him. He didn't laugh out loud, but appreciated the humor. (Wow! Labels: Only in the USA.

Standing on Grace: January 2009
http://elisabethincongo.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Life with God is an adventure. Friday, January 30, 2009. His mercy endures forever! Thy mercy my God is the theme of my song,. The joy of my heart, and the boast of my tongue. Thy free grace alone, from the first to the last,. Hath won my affection and bound my soul fast. Without Thy sweet mercy, I could not live here. Sin would reduce me to utter despair,. But through Thy free goodness, my spirit's revived. And He that first made me still keeps me alive. Thy mercy is more than a match for my heart,.

Monday, October 11, 2010. This thick and dark gravy full of flavor and body can be used for any beef dish, from Beef Wellington to Prime Rib. It really adds the extra boost to an already-perfectly moist and tender slice of meat. In a sauce pan, saute:. 1 shallots, minced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. After the shallots and garlic are soft, about 5 minute, add:. 1 Tbsp. tomato paste. 2 Tbsp. butter. 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour. Stir together until the mixture turns brown. Then add:. 1/3 cup marsala or red wine.

Fletchboy's Follies: April 2009
http://fletchboy.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Personal opinions, rants, book reviews, product reviews and interesting experiences from the desk of Greg Fletcher. Thursday, April 30, 2009. I just looked at my archives and realized that I have not been particularly faithful to blogging for the last few months. It can get tricky sometimes keeping track of all the options for communication. Some of the options are so similar, I sometimes blur the lines a bit. Do you ever struggle to keep up with your communication? Wednesday, April 22, 2009. There had b...

Life with God is an adventure. Sunday, February 8, 2009. This picture shows how nice and straight and paved our roads are.I mean can't you tell by the way the car is tipped to the right that the road is flat? P When our visitors were here last week, we went up to one of the more periphery areas called Kadutu to do some Focus Group discussions with mothers of young children and the Community Health Workers supposed to be serving them (obviously not in the same group.). Studying God's Word and seeking Him.

Standing on Grace: A New Passport
http://elisabethincongo.blogspot.com/2009/07/new-passport.html
Life with God is an adventure. Monday, July 27, 2009. 8211; I was content to still have my life and my health and my family and friends. When the soldiers (from either side, Congo or Rwanda) pass through villages, they often take everything people have, digging up their fields, eating their goats, raping their women and children…I know that it is God who gives and takes away, and I still have a lot to be thankful for. I’m all better now, but it took about a week to get over it. I’m baptiz...The Meaningfu...
