So just last week I was bragging that the check engine light hasn't been on for six months, well, me and my big mouth. Guess what came on today CHECK ENGINE LIGHT! This is the fifth time in 14 months this same code has shown up P0456 they found a defective purge valve and replaced it. The best part is the guys at the dealership tell me "at least you have a warranty".

The big family vacation is just a few weeks away. Now I know what you are thinking, engine light, right? Not this time. Both sliding doors are out of adjustment and they need to have the latches replaced, and the cowl is cracked.again, and there is a weird whining noise in the front end. Every thing gets fixed, but the whining noise?

It's been less than two months since we first took the van in for the check engine light, and guess what! The check engine light came on again today, so, back to the dealer it goes. Code P0456 (small evap leak). The dealers work order says "inspect and found gas cap to not be sealing. Replaced gas cap and cleared code.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dont Expect Good News.
