Sex and the Knitty: Testing The Waters
http://sexandtheknitty.blogspot.com/2015/04/testing-waters.html
Hoping that humor and sarcasm can get me through this thing they call motherhood. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. The undulating color changes-here she is in all her glory. I have been able to test knit a few patterns now and I've said it before, but I'll say it again-it's so fun being in on it! Testing The Joker and The Thief. Was a joy, so I thought I'd post some photos that I took after weaving in the ends and giving it a light blocking. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. True to f...

Sex and the Knitty: Falling All Over Myself
http://sexandtheknitty.blogspot.com/2009/12/falling-all-over-myself.html
Hoping that humor and sarcasm can get me through this thing they call motherhood. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Falling All Over Myself. For one of our last nights away from the land of taxes, we stayed with our friends in Portland. In order to facilitate the evacuation of wiggles, we went to Out of This World Pizza. So that the kids could run and run and run in the warehouse-sized playland. And eat dinner in one fell swoop. Band is just plain creepy. The design of clogs have always kind of baffled me.t...

Sex and the Knitty: Rhapsody in Grey
http://sexandtheknitty.blogspot.com/2012/03/rhapsody-in-grey.html
Hoping that humor and sarcasm can get me through this thing they call motherhood. Thursday, March 29, 2012. After many, many paint samples lovingly applied to the walls in crazy quilt fashion, I finally hit on the perfect grey (or 'greige') tones for my kitchen and living room that weren't too blue, too green or too anything other than what I had envisioned. When we built the house, I had to pick one color to put all over the house; walls and. Did she just say preggo? Yes, it's been awhile! Okay, back to...

Sex and the Knitty: Trip the Light Fantastic
http://sexandtheknitty.blogspot.com/2011/11/trip-light-fantastic.html
Hoping that humor and sarcasm can get me through this thing they call motherhood. Saturday, November 5, 2011. Trip the Light Fantastic. I was perusing DIY blogs (shocking, I know) after talking with my friend. About options for a capiz chandelier in the bedroom without forfeiting our ceiling fan, and she pointed me to House*Tweaking. For the awesome mash-up; The Fandelier. Her ceiling fan looks almost identical to mine, so I knew it would be a great fit. I'm so excited! Oh my, is she a genius.or mayb...

Friday, July 23, 2010. Our new favorite routine is to eat dinner outside before playing a little longer and coming in for baths and bedtime. They love the novelty of al fresco dining and I love the lack of clean-up! He's all about making faces these days for his 'movies'. He never slows down. Posted by Sally HP.

Tuesday, November 01, 2011. Halloween and Home Improvement. And, all the while, he's patiently waiting out the chaos. Charlie's visit to the pumpkin patch at Klicker's. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Oh Lordy, where has the time gone? We had a fantastic summer filled with many adventures and are now in the swing of a new school year. Henry is enjoying Kindergarten, and Charlie is in preschool two mornings a week. I've really enjoyed the extra time with just Charlie, but we sure miss Henry when he's gone all day! Wutzke Family: June 2010
http://wutzkefamily.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. Moving Day.or at least Loading Day. The sky here can be so deceptive. Although it was slightly overcast all day, the only thing that cloud cover served to do was create a nice little cocoon for all the sweltering air! It was 85 degrees by the time I went out to buy a final roll of packing tape at 8:30 in the morning. The humidity was crazy, and all I could think was 'I better get some more cash to tip these movers! More Bars (or is it more boxes? Posted by Sally HP. Charlie's first...
