Thursday, March 26, 2009. Curvy Flowers Add a Border RR. This is the back. I've been telling Marie that I piece all the leftover fabrics together for the back of my quilts to use them up. This one was overdone, but I didn't have to buy any fabric for the backing. I also generally put any leftover blocks on the back as you can see here. This is a close up of the quilting. This just shows the center up closer. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This blog features all of my designed works. Tops Ready to Quilt.

Quilts I Gave Away. Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Barn Swap - Tammy. This was a swap class I took at annual meeting in 2000. I loved it so much that I actually made and completed a quilt for Tammy's wedding. My blocks are still sitting (shown above). I just want a small quilt or wallhanging out of them now but haven't decided how to finish them yet. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Deana, Tracy,Lyn, Ann, Marie) Dreamworthy Quilts. It was a fun quilting retreat with friends and family. Mom bought me this fabric in exchange for quilting some tops for her. I'll be giving it to Jolynn when she gets married some day. Quilts I Gave Away. Friday, November 13, 2009. Cracker Jacks - Faye Torgerson. The bottom photo is called Cracker Jacks and was designed by Kaye Evans. I gave it to Faye Torgerson for my Christmas wallhanging exchange. I loved Kaye's class so much that I took it twice, first at Ruby's Inn and later at my last Annual Meeting. Jesus and Mary - Lorna. My trapunto plan really didn't work out with this project, so I outlined the picture in decorative thread. I gave it to Lorna for Christmas. Quilts Given to Me.

http://quiltingforothers.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Machine Quilting for Others. Thursday, October 28, 2010. Mom's Hexagons in Rotation. I am so excited to have finished my "One thing, one week challenge". It was to quilt Mom's queen-sized "Hexagon's in Rotation" quilt. It seems that I've quilted a gazillion of them, but it was really fun. The really crazy thing is that I have two of mine that still need quilted. You can see them. I hope she likes it. This quilt project was born at our Dorinda retreat.
