It was great to go as a family to bring it to their center. Serving others gives you such a great feeling and I was grateful to share that with my girls today. Friday, January 22, 2010. (We will excuse Mom, she was in NY enjoying a sister's weekend and celebrating Grandma's 80 th. Was a horseshoe. She is the one on the far left side. Boy was she excited to get her costume! You see, the longer this colder weather holds out, the less likely I am to spend 2 months swelling up like a behemoth. With Victoria, who was born at the end of May, I had so much water retention that I had cankles. Luckily I didn't get toxemia. But I was getting dangerously close to it. blech. Our Neck of the Urban Jungle. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Sledding at Lindsey Gardens. Today we were introduced to the wonderful world of good sledding. Heather has told us about this place and we were so very excited to be able to go and get on some sweet hills. The girls did get sleds for Christmas, so we got all ready and loaded up. It had been snowing for most of the morning and there is nothing like fresh snow! Saw the biggest and steepest hill there and immediately. Style would totally ROCK!

Thursday, February 24, 2011. Marcie loves to be outside in the snow with her dad.I don't do snow :) They have made a few snowmen in the past couple weeks. They are quite creative I must say! Evan is such a happy little boy, he loves to smile at everybody. He has grown up so fast I think he weighs 15 1/2 pounds, so half the size of Marcie exactly. He soon will pass her up.
