Our precious girl, H, will be 23 months at the end of December! She loves learning the Alphabet. She is just beginning potty training, and has gone on the big girl potty a few times so far. Wednesday, July 06, 2011. My family is re-instating the annual tradition of vacationing at Clearlake! Something we started doing when I was 9, and haven't done in the past few years.). Oh happy day, our profiles were mailed off this afternoon! 50copies of our precious 11 pages full of pictures, text about our lives, and letters written to birthmoms by our family and friends, were sent off to our Adoption facilitator ready for birthmoms to view. I've estimated that I have put in about 60 hours working on our profile! It has been an interesting task putting our lives down on paper in words and pictures. Thank you to everyone who helped us with this profile!

Thursday, April 21, 2011. While reading the book One Thousand Gifts. I was reminded of the lost art of bread making. I was introduced to bread making many years ago by long time family friend Chris V. I lived with her family in the north part of. It brought back so many memories that I had almost lost. mixing, kneading, rising, shaping, baking, smelling, and savoring the first bite. The process is beautiful, and I fully enjoyed every step! Thursday, February 23, 2012. So this is the first picture I took with my new iphone- I am obsessed! About the wheat berries, and, I guess the iphone too-it's pretty stinkin' cool! No, this stuff in its raw-est (is that a word? Form, is the best! And drum roll please. I do believe that I have slimmed down while eating them! At least Scott said he thinks I have- I can never tell). I am currently saving up for a food mill and Bosch Mixer so that I can start making my own bread. can't wait! Verses to live By.
