We've had some sick, I've been to a worship conference, Riley spent a week in Illinois and Tim work a gozillion hours at the funeral home. I'm pretty far behind. Friday, February 7, 2014. Riley loves her new puppy, Lizzie. She has been a lot of fun to have around (but I'll be glad when it gets warm enough for her to live outside all the time)! She is a blue heeler, border collie mix. I saw somewhere they were calling them "blue collies". We hope she'll make a cow hand when she gets a little bigger. Riley grew some pumkins this summer and we had an abundance so we've been "decorating" for fall. She has enjoyed putting them out. And all that hard work tends to leave her filthy from head to toe. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. My aunt Deloris and cousins Roy and Dustin made a pass through mom and dad's over the weekend. We made a quick trip up to see them and enjoyed a few hours together. Taylor was showing off his t-ball skills while Roy was catching. Dad and Tim grilled us up some great steaks and hamburgers. Julie and Ashley cooked up some good fixin's too. And Forrest searched all of Norris City for hamburger buns! It was beautiful weather outside and we had a great time just chillin' and grillin'.

Thursday, February 20, 2014. February means Farm Show! With the first realish snow of the season, Riley was able to scrap up enough snow to make a wee little snowman. But the layer of ice underneath the snow was perfect for sledding. Probably the best sledding conditions we've had. The cousins came over and had some fun. We had a great time this year at the Farm Show in Louisville, too. Riley and Taylor got to chum around a little bit and we enjoyed the tractor pull once again. Jesse and Ashley Reese.

Friday, June 21, 2013. Riley drove a tractor by herself for the first time about two weeks ago. Since then she begs to drive and drives the 530 Case around the driveway at the shop.
