I've been thinking a lot about being positive lately, particularly when it comes to parenting Jaxson. The last couple of months I've used phrases like, "stop whining" "when we're done playing you won't throw a tantrum right? Don't do that" "why are you acting like this? But let's not whine about this." And then he kept whining. I'd start counting and then even send him to time out. And then I was just frustrated. "I was so positive why did he throw a tantrum like this? It was a break through for us.

Six years ago today Landon asked me to marry him! I don't know what he was thinking. I'm sure glad he did though. We were lucky enough to have mama Woolf stay with us til Tuesday and uncle Scotty til Thursday. Isn't family great? Has two more days of anesthesiology. St Louis General Surgery. The title pretty much sums it up. General surgery was hard and Landon didn't love it. Neither did I. But it's over now. Phew! We spent our weekend just the two of us in St. Louis. I needed it so badly, and Landon needed it even more. He's been working around the clock non stop for far too long. The Week of Girls Camp. Girls camp was amazing. And yes, even though i'm not considered a "girl" anymore, I grew so much. It was a fun, long, emotional, happy, hilarious, hard, super fast, loving, tiring, exhilarating week and its safe to say that I would go back a million times over. The girls are amazing. Can't believe we've already. Been here for two years! AND I can't believe we've only. Been her for two years. Time is strange isn't it? But one thing for sure, we love our life here. His schedule this week was soooo nice. I'm glad he had a little break. He still got home every day at six. He put Jax to bed alone Tuesday-Friday. He is such a good dad. He is also loving working with the missionary program. I'm just proud of him all around and I love him more every day! He does quiet time every afternoon...

This weekend has been soo rejuvenating! I'm so grateful for the chance we had to go and do work for some of Landon's family in the temple. I'm grateful for the two hour drive there and back to catch up and talk with landon! And of course crazy grateful for BYU football. Which made our whole week exciting with anticipation! Talks in the mean time. It's really changed my days and my attitude! I was also able to go make and deliver cupcakes with my Mia Maids. I went visiting teaching. Such a great Saturday.

We are having a baby brother! I am sooo excited! I really did think this one was baby abby, but this just means that baby abby will still come. I'm overwhelming thrilled for another baby boy like jax! We had the most wonderful Christmas ever! I loved being the mom at Christmas! I loved having Christmas at home!
