11 – Shifting Winds. So today I was one of three bands to audition for the Shangri-La Hotel, and I was chosen. Tomorrow I will return to audition with an American pianist who I am told is very good. (We shall see! They want a pianist who can sing, and they want to add a Chinese girl to sing with me, which would be interesting indeed. I finally had a chance to try it at the Asian Garden Night Market in Westminster, CA. Lots of great Vietnamese food was there but this was our first stop.
