In The Studio: Watercolor Painting
http://greencountrygallery.blogspot.com/2013/10/watercolor-painting.html
Tuesday, October 1, 2013. I drew up this sketch for a watercolor painting. My inspiration was from these cute little ice skates that I picked up at Hobby Lobby. The painting was in icy blues, purples and greys, perfect for winter. I'll be using this painting for bookmarks with a Bible verse to put in my upcoming Christmas Art Show. In The Studio: On The Easle

Thursday, January 24, 2013. I have been finishing up a winter scene. In the background, a red barn can be faintly seen behind a barb wired fence. Snow scenes are always my favorites. In The Studio: My New Studio
http://greencountrygallery.blogspot.com/2012/11/my-new-studio.html
Thursday, November 15, 2012. I set up my paints and easle this week in the new studio. (Bye, bye to my dear little studio! You will always be my little blue studio with the cheery yellow interior.). I have a lot of light coming in the window next to my easle. Next to the window, I filled up the shelves with old and new paintings. In a few weeks, I have a local art show and so I finished one painting earlier this week and started another one shown here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 4 x 5 Paintings.

In The Studio: Ready To Go
http://greencountrygallery.blogspot.com/2013/09/ready-to-go.html
Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Since the fall is almost here, I'm gearing up to start painting for my winter art show. As inspiration while working in the studio, I added some more color. I'm finally starting to feel at home in my under the eaves studio. A few months ago I bought the orange and white pillow to put in here. I found this reading lamp on sale a couple of weeks ago. I would like to find a large area rug in more neutral colors but this little one is fun for now. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://greencountrygallery.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 20, 2013. I had a wonderful time at the Christmas Art Show. This year, I brought my watercolors and painted some paintings during the show. We had a great turn out and I enjoyed meeting a lot of new people. I sold a lot of art but Bria and Brenlyn stole the show with their Christmas costumes! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wednesday, October 16, 2013. This is my favorite time of year. The outdoors is filled with crunchy red and orange leaves, pumpkins are on the porch steps and apple cider is warming in the crockpot. Inside my studio, I'm already working on paintings for Christmas so I'm getting the best of fall and winter wrapped into one. Another painting for my Christmas show coming up in just another month.
