Last Friday we braved the after work LA traffic and trekked what normally is a 90 minute drive to Temecula from our home to watch Lani Misalucha's casino concert tour, "Voice of the Nightingale". With my Mom, kid and husband in tow, we were stuck in traffic for 3 hours! The tickets said that it starts at 7:30pm and we barely made it when we arrived at 7:20pm. Monday, October 29, 2012. Halloween at The Grove LA. One of the things I like living in LA is that there is no real bad weather to contend with. Sure, it's hot. But it's not always hot, and at night it's still cool. Plus the ocean breeze makes up for it. I love the fact that most of the activities are outdoors because of the beautiful weather. I'm a Mom to an angel baby lost in 2007 but never forgotten and to a very active and adventurous little girl named Sofia. Wife of several years to a Math teacher and sports enthusiast. I also work full-time in healthcare and I occasionally peddle my wares on eBay. I always thought being a Mom was my calling, but some days I ask myself, what was I thinking? Of course, the rewards are priceless.a smile, a hug, a laugh from Sofia is enough for me to realize that the 30 hours of labor was all worth it.
