Tuesday, June 14, 2011. The "Joy" of Gardening? I did not inherit my mom's green thumb, but gardening has become enjoyable, rewarding and something I can do with my kids. My husband's creativity and hard work has made our garden a relaxing place with a fish pond, a fountain, and a beautiful arbor. Friday, January 22, 2010. A photo diary (kid style). I recently downloaded pics from an old camera and this is some of what I found. Monday, January 18, 2010. It wasn't easy, but worth it. At this time 20 years ago. Two teenagers, who had to have their parents permission to be married, agreed to take a journey. It wasn't easy. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Spring Baseball Opening Day. William is enjoying playing baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies. We signed him up to play with one of his good buddies, but he missed the age cut off so they are in different divisions. He was sad at first and did not want to play, but now he loves it! Monday, September 27, 2010. Luke really enjoyed fetching sticks again, although the water was quite cold and if we threw the stick too far he whimpered until the stick came to the shore. Luke was very exhausted. I think he forgot he's not a puppy anymore. He took every opportunity to rest in a cool spot. William really wanted to swim across the lake despite his fear of crawdads. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. After sixteen years, my washer and dryer decided to retire. Even though my laundry room is purple, I chose a Tango Red pair. So, instead of repainting the room I decided to incorporate the red. I think my husband thought I was crazy because who makes over their laundry room? Wednesday, February 24, 2010. One year older and wiser? I really didn't notice a difference. That is until today when the eliptical machine at the gym tricked me into putting in my age and I was forced to admit my age had increased by one. I could have lied, but what's the point? Getting older: Running my first 5k this weekend. Why I'm definitely wiser. Graduating college in May. I'm gonna be a grandma in the spring! PS Don't ask how old I am, that's between me and the eliptical machine :).

Monday, February 28, 2011. The final part of the project is a wax figure museum with a five minute speech as your character. William was amazing and stood at attention through all the speeches. We are so proud of him. Since it was a rather large and time consuming project, we were thrilled when William was awarded the Principal Award for his Famous Arizonan project! Luckily, we've got a year off before Abby will be in 4th grade. Saturday, February 19, 2011. It's Great 2b Eight! Our sweet Abigail Celeste.
