Saturday, May 9, 2009. 1 lb ground beef. 1/4 cup chopped onion. 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp prepared yellow mustard. 3 tsp brown sugar. Ground black pepper to taste. In a medium skillet, over medium heat, brown the ground beef, onion, and green pepper; drain off liquids. To freeze leftovers fill muffin cups or half cup containers. Once frozen remove from container, wrap in plastic wrap and foil and store. Reheat individual serving sizes in the microwave.

In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; remove to paper towels. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. Chicken with Creamy Chive Sauce. 1 package dry Italian seasoning. 1/2 cup white wine (or chicken bullion). 1 can golden mushroom soup. 4oz cream cheese with chives and onion. 1 package penne pasta. Add all ingredients except penne to crock pot. Cook on low for 4-5 hours. Cook penne, combine with sauce and chicken, serve. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars. 6 tbsp unsalted butter. 1/2 c natural chunky peanut butter. 1/4 c light brown sugar, packed. 1 tsp baking powder. 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease an 8 x 8" pan. Whisk together the flour, salt and baking powder. Set aside. Stir in the flour mixture. Add the chocolate chips, stirring until combined. Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for about 30- 32 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.

Life as a King. Thursday, May 5, 2011. Well aren't I just the horrible blogger? Over 2 years later and I'm finally posting an update. First of all, Aydia is over 2 now! She's a very sweet girl who loves to talk! Every day it seems like her vocabulary just expands times 10! She is able to tell us most of the time what she wants. Oh, and she's pretty much potty trained! Here is a picture of our big girl! The other big news is that Aydia is going to be a big sister! In like 3-4 weeks! Long baby I'm growing!

Life as a King. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. She's definitely still a girl! No scrotum or penis in site! Heart rate was 136 BPM, so she's nixing that's old wives tale of girls always being higher than 140! She was VERY active the whole ultrasound and was sucking on her thumb for most of it. 1 tube of crescent rolls. 2 cups (divided) corn chips. 1 lb ground beef. 1 can tomato sauce. 1 envelope taco seasoning. 1 cup sour cream. 1 cup shredded mexican cheese. Unroll crescent rolls into 9×13 inch greased dish, seal seams by pressing together. Sprinkle with 1 cup corn chips. Brown beef, drain, stir in tomato sauce and taco seasoning. This is one of our favorite meals. After Keaton was born, Carrie Pendergrass blessed us with this meal and I immediately asked for the recipe. We have it all too often! 1 pkg Rotini noodles. Cook chicken in butter (in skillet on the stove) and season generously with Italian and Garlic Seasonings. Mix pasta, spaghetti sauce and chicken in large dish. Top with mozzarella cheese.
