July 28, 2013. This week I have been attempting to find a smoothie recipe which I can enjoy for breakfast. Therefore, I set out to find something that wasn’t too sweet or, dare I say it, too “green” for my early morning palate. And also something that would keep me satisfied at least until mid-morning. 1/2 cup frozen berries. 1/4 cup steel cut oats (steel cut is what I used, but the true recipe called for rolled oats). 1 teaspoon honey or agave. 1/2 cup frozen berries. 1/4 cup rolled oats. 1 tsp pine nuts.
