I did not have high hopes for this place. my reasons for this are twofold. One, their Yelp reviews are REALLY mixed. Super mixed. Not at all consistent. So that was a red flag. Two, a girl that I used to work with really liked it. Why is that a bad thing? Cuz I remember some of her other 'favorite' places that I had gone to with her, and they were bleh. So why did I go?

It was crazy flavorful. citrusy and bright with lemony dressing and topped with fried pita chunks for serious crunch and texture. It had the same deal. rice and the pepper. this combo was even better with the shawarma, since the sweetness of the meat really brought out the bite of the pepper. What tastes great in the Garden State! Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Luca's Ristorante, Somerset. And we ended up taking half home so we didn't fill up before our meals. This may be a smart thing to share as a starter for 4 people, but for 2 it's too much food (although the leftovers were AMAZING). Home made pasta got a nice, thick coating. This was superb.
