Monday, February 27, 2006. Yeagers Antiques - Midway, KY. Duane Yeager, proprieter of Yeager's Antiques, not only sells antiques, but is also an artist. Yeager transforms antique pottery jugs into unusual art forms by applying unfired clay and natural materials. His artistry is reminicent of work created by African American slaves in the early 1840's. His art is currently being exhibited at the Headley-Whitney Museum in Lexington through March 19, 2006. A sentiment to which I think we could all agree.
