Skip to primary content. I wrote this travel log for an assignment asking us to reflect on our travels through China. I would have written it in early November 2011. I thought I might share it with you all! An unbridled idealist, I feel that my travels while here in China have yielded no concrete observations, no epiphanies, and certainly not any one specific realization. For my independent trip I ventured out with fellow CIEE students to the far western parts of China. We saw big cities like Xi’an.
