My Fabulous Life in U.S. George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens. これもまた父のリクエストでいったのですが私の住んでいるところから約車で１０弱でいけるところ。今まで存在まで知らなかった私。たまには遠くから訪ね来る人がいるのもいいなって思いました。大人なら15ドルの入場料。かなりきれいに管理されているところで、やはり18世紀ということもあり、お手伝いさんの部屋や黒人さんのお手伝いさんの部屋などあり。特にGeorge Washingtonは農作などにかなり請っていた人なのでいまでも畑や農場などがあり、羊が走り回っていました。あとこの豪邸からの眺めもかなりきれいです。自然に保護されている地区なのでかってに建物が建てられることがなくかなり自然がいっぱいのきれいなところでした。 Labels: GeorgeWashington Mount Vernon.
