Leaving a Legacy of Faith: May 2008
http://myfaithlegacy.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 1, 2008. Creating My Legacy of Faith. Last October I started creating my first Legacy of Faith scrapbook. It was a journey that started out in our Bible study class as a prayer treasure map. We were "supposed" to create a book of prayers and illustrate those prayers. Of course, how do you illustrate? I love the Lord, for He heard my voice, He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live.". Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The B...

You may not know God’s Word but you know what He’s done for YOU in your life. You know, I am more than a mother, a friend, a sister. My character is defined by my beliefs, my...
Leaving a Legacy of Faith: Famous Last Words
http://myfaithlegacy.blogspot.com/2008/09/famous-last-words.html
Saturday, September 27, 2008. There have been many people throughout history who have penned their last words before they died. Some record the bitter lonely life they led, others about their glorious home in heaven that was waiting for them. Others have left a legacy of love, encouragement, kindness and compassion. What do you want your family and friends to read about you? Do they know your heart? Have you thought about writing letters of encouragement to each of your family members and close friends?

But it turned out pretty cute, so I guess it was worth it. Here is a picture with the plain beach, before the "visitors" arrived. Mommy, the Human Napkin.

My Issues
Saturday, November 25, 2006. Some weeks ago, blogs after blogs I visited were lamenting about Sir Elton John's comment about banning religion. The reason being religion is the root of hatred. This is nothing new. Of course coming from Sir Elton John, a celebrity, it caught the attention of many. I personally have heard "religion is the root of evil" many many times before. As the comments were coming from ordinary everyday folks, I just shrug it off. The Evils of Religion. Don't be fooled by this rhetori...

My Journey
Wednesday, October 11, 2017. The Body of Christ: For Such a Time as This. I have read both of the passages from Romans and 1 Corinthians but never noticed that each is followed by a section about love for one another. It appears that love is crucial to the body of Christ functioning as God intended it to. And why wouldn’t it, as God’s nature is love and He is love? What part has God called you to play? I hope so. Don’t delay, serve the body of Christ today in unity and love for His glory alone! Another s...
