The Hope's: June 2008
http://thehopefamily.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Well, I have finally done it. I have joined the millions of people who now spend the extra time that they do not have posting minute details about their life on the internet. I never thought that I would be a blogger, but here I am. But of course, you guys reading are just as interested in my family's life as I am, right? There will probably be lots of changes to my page to come, as I try to figure all of this out! Posted by The Hope Family. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Hope's: December 2008
http://thehopefamily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Well, life is funny! Just a few weeks ago, I was blogging that I had been wanting another baby, but that the "baby fever" was over and that I was going to just let God decide when the right time was and not worry about it! Then what does God do? He gives me a baby! We are so excited (after spending one day mentally asking ourselves if we were crazy)! God has blessed us with two of the most precious boys and we are thrilled that he would entrust to us another baby. The boys try...

Friday, October 10, 2008. I know that it has been a while since I have posted. I haven't really felt like posting for a while. Jonathan's mom, Brenda Hope, died on August 1, 2008 very unexpectedly. Mud Puddles and Dandelions: September 2014
http://mebarton.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 10, 2014. My Bon-Bon Eating Life. As a stay-at-home mom, especially now since all of the kids are in school, everyone knows I sit around all day eating bon-bons and watching soaps (and according to my son live videos of tiger cubs). You know, like EVERY SAHM. This is how I have spent the last 13 years of my life. First off, there is NOTHING on television during the day. Not for those without cable anyway. I haven’t missed anything! Now, back to REAL life (and maybe a few more bites o...

Mud Puddles and Dandelions: October 2014

Thursday, October 02, 2014. Sears Has Horrible Customer Service. Other than one time, we have always bought our appliances from Sears. They usually have good customer service, they price match and they have always had a good warranty, which is the main reason we use them. Not only will I never buy another appliance from Sears, I will never step foot in Sears again. At this point I have spent more than SIXTEEN HOURS. After talking to the repair company and two different Customer Experience Managers with S...

Mud Puddles and Dandelions: December 2012
http://mebarton.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 17, 2012. Friday, as I sat paralyzed, listening to the horrible information coming across the television and praying it was all a big mistake, I seriously thought about pulling my kids from school - for good. Who could do this to BABIES? I did not pull my kids from school. Instead I pray! I can only do so much to protect my children. Anything can happen anywhere we are. I can not put them in a bubble (as much as I desperately want to). There is evil all around us. There a...The Lord is c...

Mud Puddles and Dandelions: A Social Experiment
http://mebarton.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-social-experiment.html
Thursday, August 01, 2013. Right before our 15th wedding anniversary this year, I started posting “I love Paul because.” on Facebook. Every day I would choose one reason that makes me fall completely in love with my husband every day. I did this for many reasons. However, it ended up being kind of a social experiment after hearing the reactions to it. Pretty early on with the post we started getting comments. Comments like “No one can ever be as good as he is! If I spend my time pointing out his weakness...
