Okay, so i'm not the quickest poster in the west, but i'm okay with it. Spirit, and Damien and I feel very blessed to have been given the opportunity to spend this extra time with him. Monday, June 29, 2009. Pull up a chair. Turns out comfort was not included in the price of my cheap ikea chair. after ending up on the floor with my laptop too many times, I bought a staple gun and went to town. Ash came to visit and we loved every freezing minute. luckily we had an iphone to document all the dorky moments at the white house, downtown and at the temple. East coast adventuring took me to pittsburgh. despite a lovely head cold and the general gloominess of rain, I very much enjoyed the city. cute little neighborhoods, great bridges, nice museums, charming inclines and a firework show! Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Wow I can't believe that it's been so long since my last post- -that's sad! Time to breath a little deeper, take moments to enjoy the experience, and live a little richer (I'm not talking monetary). Reflecting back since the time of my last posting, there's been continued growth and self awareness- -some misgivings, and missed opportunities. but most of all, lots of laughter! Friday, October 30, 2009. Mom and dad came for a fall visit to see the colors [and of course me]. we saw some sights, ate lots of food, drove skyline drive to check out the foliage, went to gettysburg, ate some more. True to form, i put them to work with a little painting and packing to prep for the upcoming move. we had a blast. Thanks for coming mom and dad - visitors welcome always! Tuesday, October 20, 2009.
