Simranjeet Gill: 2015
http://simranjeetgill.blogspot.com/2015/01/2015.html
Nuisances, adventures, learnings of a bloke. Thursday, January 1, 2015. Another of those numerics which quantifies time, and thats whats there to it. Currency rules our roost. A thoughtless run to create endless, by killing self endless, to buy things needless and to spend at hyped events mindless. No less than a criminal way of life. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Simranjeet Gill: Bura Haal Hai
http://simranjeetgill.blogspot.com/2014/10/bura-haal-hai.html
Nuisances, adventures, learnings of a bloke. Monday, October 13, 2014. Happened to come back from Ambala early in the day and was on approach to Zirakpur. Not a new sight, but you cannot ignore a beeline of flats on both sides of the road - occupied, constructed but to be occupied, being constructed and to be occupied whenever. All the flashing banners of developers, only makes one nostalgic of the anger perceived while taking all those unwelcome sales calls and sms'es. I am left baffled. I am lucky in s...

Simranjeet Gill: loathsome
http://simranjeetgill.blogspot.com/2015/04/loathsome.html
Nuisances, adventures, learnings of a bloke. Tuesday, April 7, 2015. A market place full of grown ups aka adults aka so called matures, yet only a ten year old to stand up to do what is right! Where are we headed? For me it is. Seemingly in this system of things, as you grow old, you become less of a man or less of a woman and more of a fear controlled NOBODY. Where do we draw the line between what is right and why bother? Just gets me thinking. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Simranjeet Gill: adieu DHANNO
http://simranjeetgill.blogspot.com/2015/04/adieu-dhanno.html
Nuisances, adventures, learnings of a bloke. Thursday, April 30, 2015. I fondly kept that name. Sarika - now, the new owner of DHANNO. Sarika helped me figure, why things didn't work between me and DHANNO. The very first day and she was right to remark, that DHANNO can be tamed only by a Basanti and not Gabbar. Everything so makes sense now. I hope she behaves well with her new owner. The all women team of Dhanno and Basanti - I wish you well! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Simranjeet Gill: Compassion lost ?
http://simranjeetgill.blogspot.com/2015/05/compassion-lost.html
Nuisances, adventures, learnings of a bloke. Monday, May 4, 2015. Have I lost out on my compassion? Am I to be ashamed of it? I am certainly not, to admit. So how did I reach here? Was I not taught compassion? But where did all that softness in me go? I still do my duty at Blind School, probably for my childhood connect with the place. But then what is between me and donation seekers/beggars/askers? Is it that I see that as a sign of weakness and hence do not promote? I sure am lucky - my parents were an...

Simranjeet Gill: Walk
http://simranjeetgill.blogspot.com/2015/02/walk.html
Nuisances, adventures, learnings of a bloke. Thursday, February 19, 2015. Realisations at times happen in the least of anticipated situations. It struck me, had I been on my truck would I have been able to notice (one), and if noticed, would I be willing to spare time to help (two) and if I was willing, would I have been able to stop traffic wise speaking (three)? All these options, are me speaking with an open mind; majority of people out there in cars, would simply ignore without even thinking.

Simranjeet Gill: fumes
http://simranjeetgill.blogspot.com/2015/01/fumes.html
Nuisances, adventures, learnings of a bloke. Monday, January 19, 2015. Fumes can be toxic and it is best they be exhaled for their blackening carbon. I run a business and as such I pay Value Added Tax, I pay Service Tax, I pay Income Tax, I pay Road Tax, I pay Property Tax, I pay Entry Tax, I pay Toll Tax and other relevant government fees. I am 34 years old, of which I would have stayed 33 years plus 9 months in Chandigarh itself, and close to a decade as an active tax payer. Its majorly NAYS than YAYS&...
