He says, " He is not as hard for you, he doesn't do these things when you're here." Stare down. Oh. No.You.Didnt! So, in the next day I decided to capture on film just how "easy" Judson is for me. Judson likes to get in the pantry in search of potatoes everyday. All my potatos have mysterious test bites. I swear this cupboard was clean this morning.

Saturday, August 11, 2012. Sea Salt Caramel Chocolates. addicting. When my parents came last week, my mom introduced me Sea Salt Caramel Chocolates. We bought them at the beach.twice :) We tried to make them, kind of successfully, by warming up store bought caramels and sprinkling them with sea salt and then dipping those in melted semi sweet chocolate chips. We decided (1) let's do milk chocolate next time and (2) we need homemade caramels! I found a delicious caramel recipe on cooks.com (click here.

Sunday, October 30, 2011. On my way to find out the baby's gender in June, I decided to play the radio game. If the song was about a girl, it was going to be a girl, if it was about a boy, it was going to be a boy. The first 5 songs I heard were about girls. The first one was "Isn't She Lovely? Which was written about a newborn daughter the year I was born. I knew we were having a girl :). Introducing Gemma Kathleen Oaks! Our precious gem was 19 inches long, weighing 5 pounds 13 ounces, and healthy!

Gracie will have the Fontan procedure, valve repair and possible Maze procedure to help with her artial fibrillation. Jesus said " I will never leave you-never forsake you". It's truth. We know she is in excellent hands because God picked each and every one of her amazing doctors- they understand her perfect design and enjoy seeing her defeat all the odds. How Awesome is our God! And then there were three. Friday, February 26, 2010. Better things on the Horizon. It has been a tough start to 2010 for my eldest son. Sometimes I forgot how really hard it can be to be 12. He has been acting up at school - nothing serious: not finishing his homework, goofing around in the class. Things like that. I am completely confident that we can turn this around with some TLC. Maybe it is true what they say: sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you can climb your way back up to the top.
