Thursday, October 24, 2013. Grandma's Trip Back Home to Kansas. Mom brought Grandma to my house to see the boys play football. The next day we drove to Fort Worth to pick up her sister, Betty Jo. When we got to Kansas, we went by her mother's old house and grave. Mom even found a way to have fun on our cemetery trips. We were a tid bit crowded. Sunday, January 4, 2015. We were glad that Ken was able to visit us from Louisiana. He and Russell went with the other kids and Celia to Six Flags in Arlington. Afterwards they went to eat at In and Out Burger. My family loves games. We played Tripoly, Bunco, and NCIS. We made candy Christmas trees and decorated cookies. We play a game passing around Christmas pjs while reading The Night Before Christmas. Nicole, Mary Ruth, and Tatum. Russell, Laverne and Amanda. Taylor, Buck, and Celia.

He and his wife do a lot to fight AIDS in Africa. I started getting devotionals from Joni Eareckson Tada. I signed up for Proverbs 31 Woman, www.proverbs31.org. We have lived here for several years, and this is by far the snowiest we have seen it. We have literally gotten pounded by snow every 3 to 5 days since the end of September. Things are getting greener everyday, and the fruit trees have bloomed. We decided to get out of the house and take a trip to the Malpais Lava Flow. In high school, I had my eyes set on two people: the nerdy boy who surprised me with how much I ended up liking him, and the cool boy who wiggled his way into my life and stayed. I fell for these boys and they didn't fall for me too. But I think I've written enough about those boys. What I failed to see was the other boys who did fall.
