Saturday, January 3, 2009. Happy New Year and GO UTES! So I truly am resolving to be better at blogging and look, it's only been a week and a half since my last post - I'm so proud of myself. So, for all you Ute fans, wasn't last night something to be proud of? Being the true pessimist that I am (even though I wish I wasn't) I had my doubts about the game. My hope is that we wouldn't be made fools of and boy, was I ever excited! The food spread was excellent, thanks to our great neighbors!

Tuesday, April 17, 2012. On our way back to Houston from San Antonio we were able to drive through Brenham, Texas. A great farm community with so many wildflowers. Here are the Texas Blue Bonnets. There were acres of them EVERYWHERE! Along with Indian Paintbrush and a wide variety of other beautiful wildflowers. There were even cows in the fields of wildflowers! What I didn't take into account, was that Jada has about 100 times more energy than Mia, that she is a little bit more stubborn, and that chasing her naked body around our house would be a little harder than it was to chase Mia around our small apartment.
