Much of America's history is scarred by denying people their right to vote, and then defined by small struggles to gain those denied rights. We went from white male land owners, to white male non-immigrants, to all white males, to all white people including women, to all American citizens with the civil rights movement, then to all Americans within the age requirement of 18. I recently read an article about a book that is being banned more and more throughout the school districts of our country (including our own). And tell him how his book has helped them cope with their own growing up trials, but it seems that the parents of these kids apparently feel that exposure to the real word is a terrible and evil proposition. So they cut the kids off. Which no one should have the right to do.
