June 28, 2015. This weekend wasn’t terribly exciting and a bit mundane but there were a few good bits. On Saturday we went to the supermarket. I got a little go on the conveyor belt by the till to get some exercise but Karen didn’t think I was very safe – I think she was more worried about me eating her cashew nuts. On Sunday, we went to the hairdressers (although I don’t really have any hair to cut). I did suggest that I dry Karen’s hair but the hair dryer was a bit big for me. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

May 30, 2016. We had another bank holiday this Monday and, boy oh boy, did the weather deliver on being typical for a British bank holiday. It was blowing a gale in Margate and wasn’t so warm, so the heating had to come back on. Just as well it wasn’t too nice as I’d got a bit behind with my blogs so it gave me a chance to catch up. When we went out for our walk on Saturday, I was tempted by the sea as the sun was shining but then Karen pointed out the big waves that were blowing over the tidal pool.

As it was such a lovely day yesterday, we had to go to the seaside and, of course, Margate was first choice – not only because it has lovely beaches and easy to get to, but it may be Karen’s new home.
