What's cookin in the Kitchen? Monday, November 29, 2010. Easy Oreo Truffles [December Featured Recipe]. 1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese, softened. 1 pkg Oreo cookies, finely crusted (about 4 1/4c.). 2 pkg (8 squares) semi-sweet chocolate, melted. 1 Mix cream cheese and 3 cups cookie crubs until well blended. 2 Shape into 48 - 1 inch balls. Dinp in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper - covered baking sheets. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs. 3 refrigerate 1 hour until firm. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thursday, March 8, 2012. 1 1/2 cups warm water (105-115 degrees). 1 Tblsp. sugar. 1 Tblsp. active dry OR bread machine yeast. 1/2 tsp. salt. 3-4 1/2 cups flour. I've made these 3 times at my house now and we all LOVE them! They're great with soups and spaghetti dinners especially. Tyler told me that I should keep this recipe for sure. Tuesday, October 11, 2011. 1 1/2 cups milk. 1 cup pumpkin puree. 2 Tblsp. vegetable oil (I used canola). 2 Tblsp. vinegar. 3 Tblsp. brown sugar. 2 tsp baking powder. 1 tsp baking soda. 1 tsp ground allspice (I didn't add this). 1 tsp ground cinnamon. 1/2 tsp. ground ginger. 1/2 tsp. salt. Teddy Graham Peppermint Freeze. 1 box chocolate Teddy Grahams, crushed and smashed into powder. 1 cube melted butter. 1/2 cup crushed peppermint sticks OR round peppermint candies (about 12-15 rounds; don't add more or it will be too strong). 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream. 1 8 oz. container Cool Whip. What's cookin in the Kitchen? Friday, September 30, 2011. 3 large vine ripe tomatoes, diced. 1 small red onion, diced (1/2c) *I use green onions. 6 green olives, minced *optional - dont bother if its not in your fridge. 2 tbl olive oil. 2 tbl balsamic vinegar. Fresh chopped basil *I use dry. Salt and pepper to taste. Add 1/4 bread crumbs. Toss and let sand for 30 min. Enjoy on toasted french bread, we also enjoy sourdough buttered and broiled. Brought to you by your weekday meeting board.
