But we're getting close to moving to the new house and I'm trying to simplify our life around here, so it's all about cheap and easy cookin'. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 medium yellow onion, sliced. 1 pound Italian sausage. 56 ounces stewed tomatoes (you can get 2 large cans or 4 small cans of whole, sliced, or diced). 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped. Salt and pepper to taste.
