I was able to check off another city - Daesan, S. Korea. It's a smaller town about 2 hours south of Seoul on the coast. It's the first city that did not have a McDonalds or KFC around. I did experience the local cuisine and it was delicious! Tom cooking the scallops. Taste room to try various Coke Products.

April 5, 2012. The unknown is scary. We've been house hunting the last few days here at Camp Lejeune, our future home in about 6 weeks. It's been a struggle to find a decent rental without paying out the nose or having to deal with horrible base traffic. I was so looking forward to not having to deal with traffic anymore! February 26, 2012. Daddy is away on a cross country field trip for school. So, I'll be single parenting 3 muchkins for a while. Today hasn't been bad but it hasn't been all that great either. November 29, 2011. I finally got one! After 7 years of marriage and 7 fake Christmas Trees, I finally got my REAL Christmas Tree! Reason.we're staying put for the holidays and I can tend to my real tree without feeling like it will suddenly burst into flames while I'm gone. Here are pictures of some of them but doesn't do justice to how many were truly there. Sunday, May 30, 2010. Well I'm not too good with names and there are lots of Temples in Nara but here is the most famous one. I took some pictures of the Buddha statue which was gigantic and the incense burning.
