This blog chronicled my 2 weeks expedition in Nepal, GokyoRi in Nov 2009. The trip would not have been possible without the fine company of Wong TingSern, Cheng Chwee and Danny. They are indeed my worthy climbing mates and companions. This expedition started as a casual coffee talk at the Quest Cafe outside of IBM office just 2 months before the actual expedition. It ended with me standing at the peak of GokyoRi at 5360m in November 2009. We are heading back to Nepal again in 2011, so stay tune!

The scenic village claim to fame is Apa Sherpa, who holds the record for being the person who has climbed Mt Everest most number of times, 20. Flanking Dose and myself is Apa's younger brother.
