Monthly Archives: July 2013. Day 30 1 Juneathon. Day 30 1 Juneathon. My Juneathon days are all over and done. It really has been lots of fun. I’ve walked, jogged, done Pilates and run. I’ve Body Pumped, Body Sculpt, played Badminton. I’ve danced to Zumba class and cycled like mad. I’ve even rowed although that turned out quite bad. I’ve exercised pretty hard every day. The variety mix just the right way. My body has stood the test of time. Even though I’m well in my prime. This Head Can Run.

Married, 2 sons, 3 grandchildren (gorgeous). Took up running 3 weeks before my 60th birthday using NHS C25K, a smashing way to learn how to run. 2 years down the line I'm stilling running and enjoying it, visit a gym 4 times a week and hope to be able to continue for many years to come. Day 29 Juneathon →. Raquo; Day 28 Juneathon. I’ve just got back from the gym and have to say I felt a bit of a fraud after my Body Pump class. But first I did the Evergreens 55 minutes low impact. Nice and gentle, it gets the body moving without too much effort applied. Perhaps it’s time for me to leave this class and move into the gym. Well if it’s not taking much effort I ask myself is it still beneficial! Day 29 Juneathon →. 2 thoughts on “ Day 28 Juneathon. Though I quite like the icon on the end.

Day 30 Juneathon – for Carol R.I.P. →. Raquo; Day 29 Juneathon. Boring day today, no badminton tonight as coach is away. So took myself off to the gym and did 10K on recumbent bike, then 1000m on rowing machine. I had set it to do 2000m but the guy on the next machine was grunting and groaning so much I thought he was perhaps sinking and stopped to check if all was OK, there ended my workout, wasn’t really into it anyway. Day 26 Juneathon →. Raquo; Day 25 Juneathon. Hello, hello, hello, hope you are all fine, I’m just back from the gym and shopping so sitting having a coffee and banana to keep me going until dinner. I quite like the heart rate monitor too it lets you see that you are working and encourages me to push that bit harder. I’m hoping this cycling will help strengthen my legs for longer runs. Only time will tell eh! Then some grocery shopping on the way home, well we have to eat at some point in the day. Was thi...

Day 28 Juneathon →. Raquo; Day 27 Juneathon. Did I ever tell you how much I love my Garmin, it’s just the bee’s knees. I keep praising it in the hope one day it will give me faster times 😉. Http:/ connect.garmin.com/activity/334008833. This morning’s run was a fairly flattish 5K. No speeding so the police left me alone! Day 28 Juneathon →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
