Halisahar. my beautiful home town. Soil and ground water scenario. Posted by Pralay Sen. However, the soil erosion is a serious problem in Halisahar Municipality. However, to prevent the soil erosion a large-scale plantation programme including awareness and motivation campaign has been planned and a part of that is already under implementation through Ganga Action Plan under assistance from the Government of India. Yet further more steps are needed to be taken and planned in this DDP.
