Speaking With My Hands: A Little About Me
http://myhandsspeak.blogspot.com/2009/05/little-about-me.html
Speaking With My Hands. My journey learning American Sign Language. A Little About Me. Okay, I'll periodically update this to keep it current. Here's a little bit about me and mine. I've set up a blog to share my passion for learning American Sign Language. http:/ myhandsspeak.blogspot.com/. I find the language so beautiful and expressive! I've started attending a church that has an active Deaf ministry as well. Our website is EternalAnswersMinistry.org. About a very special set of circumstances that hap...

Speaking With My Hands. My journey learning American Sign Language. Long time, no posting! It's been months since I last posted! Been quite busy and not getting to the videos I want to do. I do have some news though. I've started college! Nearly 50 and just starting college, can ya believe it? I am in ASL Basic 2 just before starting my ITP (Interpreter Training Program) and going for my Associates degree in Sing Language Interpreting. My first class was fantastic! I'll hopefully post more soon. If My Ha...
Speaking With My Hands: "Lost Item" Story for my ASL Basic 2 class
http://myhandsspeak.blogspot.com/2010/03/item-story-for-my-asl-basic-2-class.html
Speaking With My Hands. My journey learning American Sign Language. Lost Item Story for my ASL Basic 2 class. We had to create a story about a lost item, giving a person's name, age, and at least 8 places that s/he looked for that item. This is loosely based on a true story. Ha ha! My husband John, 44 years old, has glasses on a cord around his neck so he doesn't lose them. One day he couldn't find his glasses! July 18, 2010 at 12:59 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Lauren's Life Stitches: February 2009
http://crochetstitches.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
My Crocheting and random "stitches" of my life . Magazine, March 2009 issue. I finally finished the rug for my Mom's birthday! The pictures are when I blocked it and had it drying, but you can see how I did. I had it blocked on a foam board with towels over it, and this was the first time I tried to block anything. I'm really happy with how it came out! I can't wait to give it to her. Her birthday is Feb 25th, but we're celebrating on Sat, so I'll give it to her then. Close-up of the Flowers in the Center.

My Crocheting and random "stitches" of my life . Here's what I've done so far on the Ballerina Puppet pattern from Laura's Left Hook. The head and both arms are done, plus the little finger hole thing that goes inside the head. One half of the body is finished here. I still have to do the other half and the legs. Then put it together and finish off with the hair. The little ridge on the body is where I'll attach the tutu. I think it's going to be so cute! Ballerina Puppet - Beginning. But, I'm bein' fer ...

My Crocheting and random "stitches" of my life . Crimson Ice Flower Granny. I've just designed my first Granny Square! It's a 5-sided Granny (so, yeah, technically it's not a 'square' LOL) I love the 3D effect, and the little "icicle" spikes keep it from curing up too much. Crimson Ice Flower 5-sided Granny. I have the pattern available for free. You can click HERE. The pattern also has an option to add another row of white if you so choose. Recent Hats and Scarves. Sunshiny Day Hat and Casual Scarf.

My Crocheting and random "stitches" of my life . My Daughter and Her Flute. This is my daughter Taylor playing Lovebug by the Jonas Brothers on her flute! She was practicing and I heard her and went into her room and asked her to play it again so I could video it. :O) We both love this song. (". I dropped my pencil! Now here she is just being random with her flute teacher Bethany. Bethany is wonderful,. I told ya she loves that song! They're crazy, right? But we just love Bethany! Vanna's Afghans A to Z.
Lauren's Life Stitches: Pineapple Coasters
http://crochetstitches.blogspot.com/2009/10/pineapple-coasters.html
My Crocheting and random "stitches" of my life . It's been quite a while since I posted to this blog. I guess I sorta got burned out a little and needed to take a break from my crocheting. But I'm back again, doing smaller projects. :O). This is a work-in progress. It will be a set of pineapple coasters when finished. I still have to add little criss-cross stitching on the body of the pineapple. This is my own creation, and when I get this set finished, I will be adding the pattern on my website. Thumbel...

My Crocheting and random "stitches" of my life . Ballerina Puppet - Beginning. I'm testing a pattern for Laura's Left Hook. Of her Ballerina Puppet. I just love this pattern! She did a great job of writing it and it is very easy to follow so far. :O). I think my granddaughter will end up with this puppet. Sometimes a Domme
Thursday, June 21, 2012. As I have become more comfortable and confident with my dominant persona the relationship with Billy has broadened and the initial reason for our meetings become long overlooked. I had never successfully milked him and this irked me so I decided it was time to try again. A text was sent and a time specified. For us to reconnect. I grabbed the leather strap and let it fall. It is very satisfactory to hear the sound of it landing on flesh. Despite his yelping I managed to g...His a...

Hands Remember
Monday, February 28, 2011. Sendai is located in Miyagi prefecture, located on the eastern coast of the northern half of Honshū, Japan's main island. From their pictures and descriptions, it sounds like a great place. Before meeting them, I knew next to nothing about Sendai, and now I find myself wishing I could visit. Friday, February 25, 2011.
