About My Health is Wealth. How did this begin? What Are Sex Workers? How did this start? In the summer of 2012, I had the privilege of working as an intern for UNAIDS in Cotonou, Benin. I was assigned to interview sex workers and draft a report based on my experience and what I had learned. This completely changed my outlook on prostitution. Listening to each women, I noticed that they always repeated how difficult and challenging their jobs are.
