A journey to Index. A quest for a life full of adventure. Picnic in the Park (on a tree trunk by the river). My brother and I bought a few essentials and headed out to the Gunpowder State Park for a picnic. The sun wasn’t out all the way from behind the clouds but being by the river was very peaceful. The only thing not peaceful about our trip was that we left the mustard in the car and were too. All good sandwiches start with a baguette. Ham is my brother’s meat of choice. I was so desperate for a picture I settled on the mirror in my hotel room. Overland Park, KS. I flew home for a beautiful weekend with Kristine. We wrestled in the park, had a picnic, and she was a human airplane. When it was all over she laughed at me at how dirty I ended up. MIA under balsa wood panels and panels and panels. A journey to Index. A quest for a life full of adventure. One big beautiful day off in Baltimore. We walked and read a bit before succumbing to our hunger and walking into Hon Cafe. It was the large plates of brunch food that we saw through the windows that sucked us in. Eggs, bacon, sausage, buttermilk pancakes… BRING IT ON! We both ordered the same thing: “The Avenue Breakfast”. It hit the spot. An informal guide to a livelier baltimore. It turned out to be a glutinous and extremely enjoyable day off.
