Sunday, May 31, 2015. Friday night, Jack and Carter went camping at Stone Mountain. It was Carters first not-in-a-backyard camping trip. They set up Carters own tent, cooked hobo camp meals (hamburger patties, carrots, potatoes and cauliflower) in the fire, and made smores. At the crack of dawn, they climbed Stone Mountain. After packing up camp, they did some more activities at the park before leaving. The boys had fun! Friday, May 29, 2015. That was $5 admission plus three gallons of gas, well spent!

Monday, June 14, 2010. World Cup Fever is here. I haven't missed a game. That sounds rather pathetic. I just planned my holiday well. Argentina was one of my favorite games. These soccer players classy. It is loud and noisy here. Wonderful. The vuvuleza is heard everywhere. Go into town and come home deaf. I soak it up. Sit and talk soccer and watch with my adopted grandparents and dad. Depending on the day. The World Cup riles up memories of good friends. Grateful for a soccer education. So grateful.
