Friday, July 27, 2012. I love the Kenny Chesney song "Don't Blink." The song refers to taking a nap and waking up to several years having gone by. Do you ever feel like time goes by way too fast with your kids? My oldest is going to be 20 years old in September. How did this happen? How did my sweet baby with chubby cheeks turn into a 6'4' young man? It seems impossible but it's not. I can't believe that almost 20 years has passed since that time. Monday, July 13, 2009. Yes, God is Good! This is the pic I took tonight after taking the bandage off of Alex's Big Booboo! It took alittle while, but we managed to get it off without pulling any of the stitches out. I was alittle nervous to try to do it- -but we managed okay. How did Alex get this big booboo? They put a pressure bandage on because it was bleeding pretty good- -wanted to make sure that it didn't ooze too much! Dairy Queen does make it alittle easier to deal with though! We love you guys.

Friday, August 28, 2009. I have not been faithful to keep up with the blog lately. So many new things and changes going on- -it's been a little overwhelming. How cool would that be? We are thankful for the way it all came together- -God definitely had His hand in leading us to sending him to this school. It's also made me realize that change isn't always bad. Alex will likely be next. There are definitely days that I wouldn't mind sending them all. I'm really enjoying it so far. Where did the time go?

Sunday, April 19, 2009. I've been trying some new Gluten Free recipes lately. Some have been good and others have completely bombed! I guess that's the way it goes. Tonight, I tried an apple crisp recipe from the Gluten Free Gobsmacked site. It was delicious! Aidan loved it (that's what was great) and everyone else loved it too! SoI continue to learn as I go. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.". I love that the verse above encourages me to take everything to the Lord in prayer. He doesn't want me to be anxious about ANYTHING. He wants me to come to him in prayer. Saturday, January 31, 2009. The best thing is all the boys love it! I am so thankful that we can have GF foods that everyone enjoys and is easy to make. I think I'm over the emotional part of dealing with Celiac and moving onto learning how to cook and bake GF foods that taste great. It's been a blessing for me to find that I can bake some of our favorite treats GF just with different flour- -how awesome is that! I'm sure I'll be doing alot of tweaking along the way- -but that's okay. What He Did For Me.
