Although LIE traffic is usually a nightmare on weekdays, a typical Sunday can get you into Manhattan in less than an hour. So, last Sunday we decided to take a family trip into the City to see the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra perform at Carnegie Hall and we were able to squeeze in a quick stop at the Central Park Zoo first. What better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than to post some pictures of Huntington’s own St. Patrick’s Day parade that took place here in the village on March 8th. Actually, a few pints of Green Beer wouldn’t be so bad either come to think of it! Our Brownie troops were out in full force, ready and excited for the 2 mile walk from Walgreens down to the Library. Meanwhile, down on Main Street, the crowds were waiting. 8230;for the arrival of the troops!
