My So Called IF Life. Wednesday, November 14, 2007. We're all busy. Busy isn't an excuse, but, I will use it. I have 2 little girls at home and it isn't always easy for me to measure and weigh foods for a serious go at the Zone diet which is CrossFit's. Party line. I've decided to us the Intermittent Fasting approach. Right now (day 1) I'm starting with a 16 hour fast and will slowly increase that fasted time. I've seen some soft core IF'ers. That pretty much eat what they want during their allotted.

Broke my fast at 12:10. 2 pieces of bacon. 2 pieces of sausage. 2 slices of wheat toast. 3 fish oil tabs. 6:30 1/4 of a rotisserie chicken. 4 fish oil tabs. Finished all food before 7:30. I'll keep my window approximately 7 to 7.5 hours this week. After I digested for an hour or so, I went out to the garage and banged out some Deadlifts. Worked up to a triple w/405. Friday, July 18, 2008. Jen and Sara came out to the park despite the heat, humidity, and thunderstorms threatening. Seeing as we were outside, the WOD was a little different. It was a little more low tech, high effect. They started off with some cal's for the warm up, worked on some Overhead squat form and sharpened the kettlebell/dumbbell swing. Christopher has finished basic training for the Air Force and has moved on to his schools for his chosen field. Nolan says he rocked it pretty hard and was a leader in basic. Dan has apparently taken his police exam and is waiting for the next step to head to the academy. Also, in his spare time, his Rugby team picked up a silver medal in the Empire State Games.
