Saturday, November 3, 2012. Our golden retriever passed away this month. It was much harder than I imagined to say Good-bye and go through the grief. Although I have had pet's before my parents always gave them away early in their lives so I never lived with a pet as long as I did Jake. I am grateful for Jake and the wonderful dog that he was for our family. I miss him. I am sad that he died and had to leave our family. I am grateful for the reminder of life being precious. Things I did that I regret.

Phil Marples is writing on the Svbtle. One of those days. I’m back, a busy few days has limited my energy to scribe my inner ramblings. Wednesday and Thursday were spent working in the Big Smoke . A morning walk along the river helped me relax ready for the busy day ahead. So back to today, woke early and laid awake thinking about nothing. Must have dozed back off as the 06:00am alarm woke me from my slumber. Got up and began the chore of getting ready. Cut the grass, eat pizza, drank wine, went to bed.
