La Compañía de Electricidad de Tokio, que gestiona la dañada central nuclear Fukushima Número Uno afirma que no dejará salir gases del recalentado tercer reactor por el momento ya que la presión dentro del contenedor comienza a estabilizarse. La compañía eléctrica tenía previsto dejar salir gases del reactor después de que la presión dentro del contenedor subió a pesar de los esfuerzos por enfriarlo.
