Described recently in The Jazz Review as a fine player, at times reminiscent of Coltrane and Getz, Sam Rogers. Is an experienced and versatile musician. Now a fully professional player, Sam took up the saxophone at the age of nine. Following early experience in the Wolverhampton Young Entertainers and the Wolverhampton Orchestra, performing a range of classical and other styles of music, Sam developed his jazz musicianship in the much respected Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra. Is 2009 Mike Hatton.

Came through the ranks as a young player with the Midlands Youth Jazz Orchestra. MYJO) and spent 12 years playing with Latin Jazz outfit Como-No. He toured Britain and Europe extensively with them as well as working in South Africa and Ireland. He has played with some top names from the world of Jazz including Andy Shepherd, Theo Travis, Digby Fairweather and has toured alongside Arturo Sandoval and Irakere. This web site ( MJHQ.co.uk.
