Apart from being much easier, the descent was fantastic because the clouds cleared and we could take in the spectacular view while bounding down the mountain. Caucho taught us to run and slide, just as you could on the side of a large sand dune. Growing exhaustion did not dampen our enthusiasm for this trampoline effect.
