My journey towards…. This Is Africa (T.I.A). This Is Africa (T.I.A). My dear fellow readers,. TIA #10 – At a meeting 2 days ago and a lady asked me if I have children, I said no. She said not yet. Then she proceed to say that I will get a husband and have children (plural) before I leave in 2 years. Me thinking – Is that why I’m here in Uganda? She did not even ask me what I’m doing in the organization I work for. SMH. TIA #13: Some minutes after the boda man and goat, I saw a sign that says “St&#4...

My journey towards…. This Is Africa (T.I.A). I wish I could tell you all about a wonderful project that I did,. I wish I could tell you how many people came to my event,. I wish I could tell you that I started a life-changing program here in Uganda,. I wish I had a lot to show for my 20months in Uganda but alas. things forgotten. | travelgiveworklove

https://travelgiveworklove.wordpress.com/2015/07/22/things-forgotten

Is there not a cause? A witty first person account of a 2 week trip to Morocco. A short story of the people who inspired us, the rich food and culture, the heartaches of international travel and the memories that will last forever. I’ve flown countless times. I know the rules. So I know that recent policies only require that the phone be in airplane mode and not necessarily completely switched off. I know this because I fly a lot and I also know this because the flight attendant had. Where a 7 hour layov...

sandstorms that make us cry | travelgiveworklove

https://travelgiveworklove.wordpress.com/2015/07/26/sandstorms-that-make-us-cry

Is there not a cause? Sandstorms that make us cry. I dare not peek outside. Another massive fly finds it’s way into my net; I place my phone on a page of the book I was reading before the storm began. It climbs onto the page and I slam the cover shut. I lift up the page, see it’s dead body splayed on page 129 and shut it again. A friend once asked me what inspires my writing. It’s the rains that makes us want to run out and dance in the mud like children. It’s the thunder that keeps us up at night. You a...

A Private Word With God | A personal journey towards God, Divine Love, Divine truth, humility, desire, healing, and my Soul

A Private Word With God. A personal journey towards God, Divine Love, Divine truth, humility, desire, healing, and my Soul. Living In Fear and the Freedom to Choose Differently. June 29, 2014. Originally posted on Notes Along The Way. The sad truth is that the entire world’s population lives in fear in some or all aspects of their lives. Then there are those of us who live in complete denial of large amounts of fear about any number of things at any given time. Denial is a perceived sanctuary and man...

My Journey Toward Healing

My Journey Toward Healing. Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Ten years ago in April I began my journey "through the valley of the shadow of death" not knowing what the future would bring. Death was one possibility on the table for my future. At the time they projected a 2-5 year survival rate for Mantle Cell Lymphoma patients. The "shadow" in the valley was very dark. Many have committed Psalm 23 to heart and it brings home the truth of "this season" of some of the lives of our family and friends…. I fear no evil;.

My journey towards...

My journey towards…. This Is Africa (T.I.A). I am an African & American. I stumbled upon this post on Facebook and I thought I would share because it was beautifully written and I hope my fellow Africans will agree with Moji. 8220;My name is is Moji Akinde, and I am an African from Nigeria. And I am American. And I am black. And I am African-American. We tell them to just get a job, yet we forget that we walked the roads paved by Ms. Rosa Parks. Perfect is Boring. | And My Exciting Personal Journey.

Donald shot himself in the foot, I became even more. Enamored by him. He obviously. Has a huge ego/ is pretty narcissistic, so I say narcissists unite! At some point,. You need to stop impressing everyone, love yourself and be your own biggest fan,. Speaking of which, I am done. This is what I do now. Here to please ...

My Journey Towards New Life - Est. 2011

My Journey Towards New Life - Est. 2011. Wednesday, October 22, 2014. In good news, I've been able to go to the bathroom now, and have probably gone more in the past week than I have in the past year, which is probably in part that I've been eating a box of frosted mini weeks pretty much every 2-3 days. Pretty crazy. It also appears that my stitches have dissolved. Oh, and Rosalie lost her umbilical cord on day 8, so she has a cute little belly button now. :). Posted by Erin Pocock.
