July 9, 2014. My friend is staying with me for a couple days and tonight she mentioned how her social worker is trying to get her into a hotel. I love this girl dearly, and it makes me feel sick to know that she feels the need to stay in a hotel. We’ve been good friends for nearly 5 years. I’ve always told her that my door is always open if she ever needs anything. Really, the choice is, sleeping on the couch or sleeping in a hotel? Not sure what I’d want, honestly.
