Day 3 post-op...: mylapband

Pressure from surgery gas. Today was a little easier to me. I was able to get up and around more! I came home with Carmine tonight and on the way home we stopped at the store so I could weigh myself and the scale said I have already lost 13 pounds! I was feeling high and mighty, YEAH I CAN DO THIS, when all of a sudden I SNEEZED. It hurt so much I thought I had blown my stomach up. I needed to be knocked back down to Earth I guess. I can't see much of a difference but Carmine said he could! Also my mom said she could too. Anyway, I am off to bed because I have to go to the doctor tomorrow at 10:00. A lil icky still. I am doing better today than I was yesterday. I was in so much pain! Plus they gave me a prescription for Liquid Percoset and I am ALLERGIC to it so I haven't taken it. So I have done this so far with no pain meds. That's why it is harder on me I guess. Went to Walmart with my mom today and then Carmine came and got me and I went home for a few hours! This has been a very weird experience! You never know how much you rely on your stomach muscles until you can't use them!

Hey guys, I haven't had a chance to update lately but I am officially down 40lbs! Today marks 6 weeks since I had the surgery! I had my adjustment on Friday so I am now on a liquid diet - SUCKS! I will be allowed to eat sugar free pudding and mashed potatoes tomorrow. I can't WAIT! All I have had for the past 2-3 days is water and Arizona diet tea. I am floating away! I will take some pictures tonight and post them side by side with a pic from before so you can compare. Will update later today with pics!
