Although texting may give more direct access than ever before, the communication levels are different. What parent has an in-depth conversation, imparting values to a child via texting? The communication of values and insight need real face time. Seniors who have time to listen to a young person and share face-to-face can be like gold in bringing understanding to life.

As my mom entered the world, 96 years before, my grandmother held her sweet little newborn hand. I was diagnosed with leukemia when I was 19 years old. I underwent a bone marrow transplant in Sept. 1994. My sister Rikki donated her marrow we were a perfect match!
